Answer: C) Yes, Alternate Exterior Angles Converse

The two red angles are on the outside of the lines a and b, so they are considered exterior. They alternate on either side of the transversal line. So we consider those red angles to be alternate exterior angles. We'll use the alternate exterior angles converse to prove the lines parallel. That converse states: "If alternate exterior angles are congruent, then the lines are parallel".
