How were women affected by the postwar boom?

Depends on which war.

WW1 Women were affected in bad and some good ways. Bad-

Husbands came home from war and became major alcoholics and because of that became very abusive to the wives & children. Good- New jobs were open for them b/c of when they filled in for the men who went off to war. Plus more feminism started

WW2- Same thing with husbands again but it wasn't as bad because of prohibition during the roaring 20's. Way more jobs were opened and made for women. Movements for women were also on going
