How do you explain the fact that sometimes less work is done in a situation in which more force is used than in a situatio in which less force is used

  • Because work=forcexdisplacementxcos(angle)
  • so if there is an angle between thedirection of force and the displacement the work done will be less but if there is no angle the work will be greater
