A jacket is on sale for 70% of the original price. If the discount saves $45, what was the original price of the jacket? What is the sale price?

100 - 70% = 30

0.30 × p (p=45)

0.30 × 45 = 13.5

the sale price is $13.50

I believe it is $64.28
First you divide 45/7 to find out what 10% of 45 is since 70% is $45
45/7= 6.42, so now you multiply 6.42 by 3 to fin out what the 30% is
6.42(3)= $19.28
Now you add $19.28+45 to add the 30% and the 70%, which is $64.28
