Answer: This is a pun.

Explanation: None of the other choices apply except as for a pun. A pun is a joke exploiting the different possible meanings of a word or the fact that there are words which sound alike but have different meanings.

Answer: A: Malapropism (also known as dogberryism).

Explanation: The sentence is derived from Shakespeares Twelfth Night. When the sentenced it used, Sir Andrew misuses the word "accost", and is corrected, but doesn't understand what the word means afterward.
