This shouldn't be too difficult i just don't know what i'm doing please help

(1-cos^2x)/(1+cosx)

Explanation:

We are given the expression


(sin^2x)/(1+cosx)

We can use the Pythagorean identity of
sin^2x+cos^2x=1 when solved for
sin^2x=1-cos^2x

Now we can substitute in our identity for
sin^2x


(1-cos^2x)/(1+cosx)
