Instead of in humans ... cell development, plants and animals use mitosis for cell division

Mitosis in plants:

The plants cells do not change the shape before the process of mitosis. Cytokinin is the main hormone in the mitotic division of plant cell. Asters are absent in plant cell. The cell plate method is involved in plant cell mitosis. Microfilaments are not involved majorly in plant cell division.

Mitosis in animals:

The animals cells change the shape and become oval or rounded before the process of mitosis. Different number of hormone is involved in the mitotic division of animal cell. Asters are present in plant cell. The cell plate method is not involved in animal cell mitosis and division occurs through cleavage. Microfilaments are involved majorly in plant cell division.
