x^2 + 2x + 7 = 0

Explanation:

x^2 + 2x + 9 = 2

To get 0 in the RHS, subtract 2 from both sides.

x^2 + 2x + 9 - 2 = 2-2

Then u get

x^2 + 2x + 7 = 0 which is your answer:)
