What are the non-living parts of the aquarium? How do these parts help the plants and fish survive?

water is a non living part of an aquarium and it allows fish to survive because it contains oxygen in it which then let's the fish breathe underwater through their gills. It helps plants survive because plants need water and carbon dioxide which is also a component of water in an aquarium.
