Explain how fresh water fish excrete ammonia​

Fish always excrete nitrogenous waste which is basically ammonia.though this is highly unusual because ammonia is highly toxic so because of that storage in the body can pose a massive life risk.But this does happen because of osmosis and that is when you have a intake of large amounts of water which will expose you to ammonia bacteria in the water
