Max has a box of 200 colored blocks. The box has an equal number of green and blue blocks and an equal number of red and yellow blocks. If Max arranged all of the green blocks in stacks of 12 and all of the blue blocks in stacks of 7, how many red blocks are in the box?​

The answer to the question is 84 red blocks. There are equal parts. 84 red and blue, 32 yellow and green

Green = Blue and Red = Yellow

You are looking for LCM of 12 & 7 because if the two (blue & green) are the same number of tiles, then they each have 12x7 = 84 each. That means of the 200, 200-84(blue)=116-84(green)= 32 left for red & yellow. 32 divided by 2 is 16 so

Red 16
Yellow 16
Blue 84
Green 84
