Answer:

x = -10 and x = 9

Explanation:

-x = 10 <- divide -1 on both sides: -1x / -1 and 10 / -1.. you get -10 = x

repeat with -x = -9 <- divide -1 on both sides: -1x / -1 and -9 / -1.. you get 9 = x
