I tore my Lingual Frenulum(attaching tendon under the tongue). I wouldn't have this problem if I had my tongue-tie clipped when I was a baby(this is an actual medical condition). I am 17 years old now, do you think I would be able to go to my dentist and have a lingual frenectomy performed? How much would this procedure cost? My tongue is in extreme pain and I cannot speak nor eat. How do I cope with this? Should I just snip it with a pair of scissors?

Your dentist wouldn’t be able to help because their job is dental, however you should go see a doctor ASAP because they’re the ones qualified to tell you whatever is need don’t snip it with scissors go to the doctors
