One leg of a right triangle is 3.2 centimeters long. The length of the second leg is 5.7 centimeters. What is the length of the hypotenuse? Round to the nearest tenth.

Here we need to use the Pythagorean Theorem. Which is: a^2 + b^2 = c^2

a^2 + b^2 = c^2

3.2^2 + 5.7^2 = c^2

10.24 + 32.49 = c^2

42.73 = c^2

6.5 = c
