What did plants evolve from?

they didn’t evolve, they were made by God.

The earliest photosynthetic organisms on land would have resembled modernalgae, cyanobacteria, and lichens, followed by bryophytes (liverworts & mosses, which evolved from thecharophyte group of green algae). Bryophytes are described as seedless, nonvascular plants.
