Answer: 180 cm²

Explanation:

You calculate the surface area of the prism as following:

1- The surface area of both right triangles:

SA_(t)=2(\frac{b*h}={2}= 2((12cm*5cm)/(2))=60cm^(2)

(The sum of the surface area of both triangles).

2- The surface area of the rectangles:

SA_1=5cm*4cm=20cm^(2)\\SA_2=4cm*13cm=52cm^(2)\\SA_3=12cm*4cm=48cm^(2)

3. Add all the areas.

The result is:

SA=60cm^(2)+20cm^(2)+52cm^(2)+48cm^(2)=180cm^(2)
