A factor tree is a diagram used to determine the prime factors of a natural number greater than one. You will know when completed when you have a prime number/prime numbers only

A factor tree shows all the smallest factors of a number.
You know it is complete when all numbers left are prime (can’t be factored any further).
For example, a factor tree of 20 would be 2*2*5
