Abstract Art. The style of art which uses new ideas but remains based on older forms C) Neoclassical. Its name gives a little prompt of its characteristic. Neoclassicism is originated in Rome in the mid-18th century, when Pompeii and Herculaneum was under process of rediscovering. It is a style which was derived from the architecture of classical antiquity.
