Compare non-critical readers with critical readers

Non- cricitcal readers are concerd with recognizing what a text says/ the facts!!

Critical readers are looking for what the text says & HOW the text POTRAYS the subject (the writers views on the subject)

Non-critical readers are not really worried about details and structure of the text in a deeper level. They just want to read, learn the information presented and use it or move on to the next thing. Critical Reading is a different, more active, way of reading. It is the process of analyzing, evaluating, and interpreting the text.
