Since, 9 , -9 , 8 are the largest numbers in the list .

But since we need largest number, it has to be positive so we take two negative numbers and one positive that is -8 , 9 , -9 so the product will be positive.

  • if two negative numbers are multiplied together, the product is always a positive number.

Thus, the product of -8 ,9 and -9 is

-9 × 9 = -81

and -81 × -8 = 648.

Hence from given options, option (1) is correct.
