This process ensures that RNA is formed by nitrogenous bases complementary to DNA nitrogenous bases, however DNA thymine is replaced by uracil in RNA. So if the DNA has the adenine, thymine, thymine and cytosine base sequence (ATTC), the RNA will have a complementary base sequence that will be uracil, adenine, adenine and guanine (UAAG).

Based on this, in relation to the above question, if DNA has the AAT base sequence, RNA will have the UUA base sequence. With the RNA base sequence, we can look at the table which amino acid is encoded by this sequence. Thus, we will see that UUA encodes the amino acid leucine (leu).
