Stalin's forced collectivization in Ukraine in the 1930s resulted in the Holodomor, the death by starvation of millions of ukrainians, which many believed was planned by Stalin to terminate with the Ukrainian independece movement.
Collectivization consisted on the idea of collective farms to eliminate enemies of the working class.
