I'm kindof confused on this.

Atoms combine together to form molecules. Atoms of different types are called elements. ... These elements include carbon (C), hydrogen (H), nitrogen (N), oxygen (O), phosphorus (P), sulfur (S), calcium (Ca) and iron (Fe). Nonliving — or inorganic — matter contains these elements too, but in very different proportions.

That is all i can say

Atoms of the same kind form elements; atoms of different kinds combine and form compounds. Atoms are the building blocks of matter. All kinds of matter in the world is made up of about 117 kinds of atoms. A molecule is the smallest unit of a substance that has all the properties of that substance.

Hope this helps!!!
