Why did texans believe that some northern states had violated the Constitution?

1- Northern states had banned all types of firearms.
2- Northern states refused to return runaway slaves.
3- Northern states had illegally elected Abraham Lincoln.
4- Northern states did not rely on the judicial system to solve legal issues.

Please help :)
