You push a 5-kg box across the floor with a force of 25N. How far do you have to push the box to do 63J of work?

Assuming there is no friction acting on the box and that the force is being applied horizontally, we can use the equation W = Fd and solve for d: d = W/F.

So:

63/25 = 2.52m

I'm not too sure why you gave the mass, unless we were supposed to incorporate friction or the force being applied at an angle in which case more information needs to be given.
