Answer:

Bond between N and Br is non polar bond

  • Nitrogen being the element of group 15 , it required only 3 electrons to complete it's octace
  • and BR, element of group 17 requires only one electron to complete it's octace
  • both nitrogen and br share their electrons as for forming ionic bond it requires too much energy for nitrogen to remove 3 electrons
  • also here, valency of br is only one.
  • both are non metal so they formed covalent bond.
