Answer: See explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

The South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) was formed in 1985 when its Charter was adopted by Government of Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bhutan, India, Maldives, and Nepal, at the Summit meeting which was held in Dhaka.

SAARC Charter shows the collective resolve, shared visions, and the regions pursuit of stability, peace, and prosperity which would be accomplished through enhancement of economic growth, eradication of poverty, and advancement in the socio-cultural development of the region.
