(2x^4)^2 is the same as 2x^4 * 2x^4 or 4x^8

(5x)^3 is the same as 5^3 * x^3 or 125x^3

multiply the two together, remember exponents on like terms add together

125*4 = 500

x^8 * x^3 = x^11

multiply together

500x^11
