Explanation:

If we substituted the x and y values in all of these equations, these are the equations and sums we would get:

A: 18 + 54 = 72

B: 30 + 90 = 120

C: 36 + 81 = 117

D: 60 + 45 = 105

Because we now know all of the sums for these equations, we can rule out A, B, and C because they don't have the correct answer that we got when we evaluated the expression which was 105. The only possible option would be D.
