So during 2003, Iraq was led by a dictator named Saddam Hussein and this dictator often committed human right violations against his people and he was an open supporter of terrorism. During this time, the US was waging war against terrorism and supporters or sympathizers of it and since the US saw that this guy helps terrorists they came in and blew a whole lot of stuff up.
