How did geography influence what Sumerian and Babylonian grew

Answer: Because they were both located in the fertile crescent the land was great for farming, which means more food which increases the population. Also it was near the mediterranean sea and the nile so lots of boats being able to trade and make the economy grown. These few thing had a huge impact on the economy and population.
