it sounds like it's an opinion based question, so i'm going to try to answer it with my opinion on the topic.
The school does have some responsibility when it comes to helping parents and students adapt to online learning. Schools and those who work within the schools should be able to provide all the materials that students will need for online work. They should also stay on top of emailing both students and parents for any major events, late work, or assignments that are going to be due in order to keep students on track and parents updated. These responsibilities are incredibly important for online learning to be a success for everyone involved
