Is "listening to your teacher discuss the Civil War" a primary or a secondary source?

Secondary. Primary sources have to come from someone who was in the civil war directly like pretend Jimmy was in the civil war and HE was telling you about it then that would be a primary source. But since your teacher is telling about someone else’s story it’s only a secondary source. Hope this helps!
