Sexual reproduction is different from asexual reproduction in what way?

Sexual reproduction gives more opportunity for the offspring(kids) to be more diverse considered they are getting traits from both parents. This makes them more diverse. For example you could have a kid with brown eyes and one with grey eyes.


Asexual reproduction created very little diversity and also increases the chances of genetic diseases. That’s one reason why incest is particularly bad. (not related but true) Also the offspring looks almost identical to the parent cell.

That is the main difference between sexual and asexual reproduction. Sexual reproduction just means combining genetic material from two parents. Asexual reproduction produces offspring genetically identical to the one parent.
