I'm guessing some stuff because I don't know what the semicircle actually looks like so uh...

Shaded area = rectangle area-semicircle area

rectangle area = 12 * 6 (the height is 6 because it is the radius of the semicircle) = 72

semicircle area= (6^2pi)/2=18pi=56.52

72-56.52

=15.48
