The area is 8 times bigger than the old area.
Explanation:
You need to do the math for the vertices first. So if the base is double that means 8 is now 16, and the height after being quadrupled would be 10 to 40.
So the original area is 80 because the formula for a parallelogram is a=bh
So with the new numbers it would be 640.
So clearly the area isn’t the same so that eliminates A, so now what you would do is divide 640/80 to see how many times bigger it is. 640/80=8

I believe it’s C.
The beginning area is 80.
Doubling the base, and quadrupling the height brings the bxh to 16x40
The new area is 640, (16x40) 640 divided by 80 equals 8, so the new area is 8 times the old one, so I believe it’s C.
