First:

8 out of 25 students are boys.
Put that in fraction form

8/25

Now..


Turn that 25 into 100
So

8/25 = 32/100


25/25 is 100%
So
25/25 = 100/100

100/100 - 32/100 = 68/100

So 68% of the students are girls.
