When multiplying 1,729 times 308, Clayton got a product of 53,253. Without

calculating, does his product seem reasonable?

Explanation:

First, 1,700 times 300 is 510,000. Since you already know that you can figure out that it's already not true.

2000 times 300 is 600000. So that also comes into context.
