Well, rotating a figure 180 about the origin means the coordinates will go from x, y to -x, -y.

Therefore, 3, -1 will be -3, 1

4, -2 will be -4, 2

and 1, -4 will be -1, 4

Answer:

see attached

Explanation:

Rotation 180° about the origin changes the sign of every coordinate. It is equivalent to reflection across the origin, or reflection across both axes, in either order. The figure is moved two quadrants. (From IV to II, in this case.) The coordinate mapping is ...

(x, y) ⇒ (-x, -y)

__

The attached figure shows the rotation 180° about the origin. The vertices become ...

(1, -4) ⇒ (-1, 4)

(3, -1) ⇒ (-3, 1)

(4, -2) ⇒ (-4, 2)
