The optimal temperature for the human body is around 98.6’ F. If a young child was running a temperature of 102’ F predict what effect this change in environment would have on the enzymes present in the child’s body. Explain your reasoning.

When you have a fever/your temperature is too high, the structure of the enzymes will start to break down and no longer function properly, due to the heat. Restoring your body to normal temp will help restore enzymes.
