Explanation: one restriction was that they (the settlers) couldn't own large amounts of land. Women could not inherent the land if their husband or father died. It went back to the trustees. Another restriction was that no slaves were allowed. This angered many colonists later in history. No rum or alcohol was allowed either. No Catholics were allowed, or lawyers. There were many restrictions on the Charter of 1732 that the colonists later argued about in history.
