Sarah competes in a long jump competition.

Her first jump is 4.25 m.
Her best jump is 12% more than this.
However, her best jump is 15% lower than the winning jump.
Work out the length of the winning jump.

Ok so her best jump equation would be
4.25x 1.12 = 4.76
Sarahs best jump = 4.76
The equation for the winning jump would be
4.76x 1.15 = 5.474
The winning jump would be = 5.474
