What do you think about gender equality(it an interview asking for perspective)

I would say that:

Women and men, and girls and boys, enjoy the same rights, resources, opportunities, and protections.

It does not mean that girls and boys, or women and men, are the same, or that they will be treated exactly alike.

I think both boys and girls take for granted the rights they have. Like how us girls can hit a man and a good man knows better to not hit a woman back.. Does that make since?
