Sine and Cosine of any angle will always give a number less than 1. Why? (*HINT* Think about fractions and how Sine is oppositehypotenuse and Cosine is adjacenthypotenus )

Answer:

Hope this helped!

Explanation:

The most easiest way to understand this is by considering a simple right angled triangle:-

For any right angled triangle

sin(theta)=perpendicular/hypotenuse

cos(theta)=base/hypotenuse

Since hypotenuse is the largest side so neither sin nor cos could be larger than 1.
