Fructose is a molecule that can move across the cell membrane. IT the

concentration of fructose is higher outside the cell than inside the cell, then
what will happen by the process of diffusion?

Fructose molecules will diffuse into the cell and that would cause hypotonic condition so the water from the inside will move to the outside of the cell so that concentrations become equal.
