In the story, the narrator is not alarmed that they have never seen a real tree and is

surprised by the real grass near the tree. How do we view nature today? Could we one day
be living in a world that resembles the setting of this story? Why or why not?

Answer:

We see it as a very green and calm place. If the weather gets hotter and dryer then we might be surprised when there is no grass, then get use to it. When we see real grass later we will be surprised.
