TVs helped with such like getting news across the world when anything happened and you’d be able to see it, it even made speeches shorter, it influenced the way that people think about such important social issues as race, gender, and class all because you could actually see them, and it was also seen as sort of a “flex” if you will back then to have one since they were so expensive.
