This isn't art, but since Music is art I will count it

How would I clap the beats? Not including the rest and quarter note.
I know that the quarter beat you must clap only once.
The rest you must not clap.
But what about the rest?
Please do not answer if you have no clue on what to do.

just read the beats and clap eigth notes twice as fast as quarter notes

Step-by-step explanation:

whole notes you clap once and hold it for 4 counts and half notes u do the same thing but hold it for 2 counts

Ight, so since you know that the time signature is 4/4, and one quarter note is 1 of those 4 beats, a eighth note would be half of a beat. Then the sixteenths notes would be half of the eighth noted beat. I’m really sorry if this doesn’t make sense but it’s the best I can do
