Answer: -4 1/4x + 2
Explanation: Start by making the denominators equal to each other, and to do so multiply 2 at the numerator and denominator of the fraction 3/4. That gives you 11/8 and then you combine like terms for 11/8 and 5. That gives you 6 3/8. Subtract.
