Do you think the Great Depression could have been avoided?

In my honest opinion, I dont think it could've been avoided. I mean if we were willing back then to stop the population from growing, or if someone tried to help the bank when it had failures, or the drought, i believe if they had gotten through that, something else would've taken them down anyways..

yh as if it wasnt for the excessive amount of production of goods then this would mean that people wouldn't have lost their jobs etc. Its basically the ripple effect.
